Brought up in various cities of Madhya Pradesh, like Rewa, Raipur, Gwalior and Indore, I was exposed to .... I passed out of the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun in June 1977 and joined The Madras Regiment. After nearly two and a half decades of service, I took Pre-mature Retirement in July 1999 & settled down in Bangalore and established Art Studio Aakruti.

A self taught artist, my motivation and inspiration to paint came from watching the Hoarding - Artists transforming postcard sized, black & white photographs into beautiful, mammoth-sized, colourful Film Posters and Hoardings in ‘60s and ‘70s as a young school student.

From then on, I have been channelling these inspirations and many others along the way, to pursue various artistic endeavours. This includes making Oil Paintings on canvas, Mixed-media Murals and Metal Relief works, Hand-made Greeting Cards in Indian Ink, Architectural Scale Models for Architects & Real Estate Developers, writing Poetry in Hindi, Singing Covers to Hindi Films Songs & Ghazals on Karaoke and playing Harmonica.

I undertake customized works as desired by a client. Currently I work in my studio in Bangalore and focus mainly on making Oil Paintings, Karaoke Singing, playing the Harmonica and writing Poetry.
